CAM CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
COMA NETWORKING CLUB OF FLORIDACEU Requirements for CAM License By Bill Carter and Bonnie Schinke, Licensed State of Florida Education Providers
Active Licensees will be required to complete 20 hours of continuing education in each of the following areas:
4 Hours of Legal Update Seminars
4 hours on the Operation of the Association's Physical Property
4 Hours of CAM related Insurance & Financial Management
4 Hours of CAM related Human Resources, Employee Relations and Communication Skills for dealing with Residents and service Providers, including Disaster Preparedness
4 hours of of additional instructions in courses approved by the Council
We want to remind you that the attendance verification process has been changed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations. Effective with this license renewal period, the Department will be tracking each licensee's continuing education hours. COMA of Florida, as provider of CEU Education, will be sending verification lists to the division. They will be keeping computerized records. Upon renewal, the Division will only send renewals to those that have met the required hours through the computerized records.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO RETAIN YOUR CERTIFICATES AND PROVIDE COPIES TO THE DIVISION IF REQUESTED. PLEASE DO NOT DEPEND ON COMA TO MONITOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS!
